I love going back to Singapore simply coz I can be mommy’s little girl and get spoilt with fantastic and yummy food.. hehe..

This here is Tapioca with brown sugar. The brown sugar is the one we bought on our Mother’s Day trip from Malacca so you know it’s as original as it gets. The tapioca is steamed first and then simmered with the brown sugar till it’s the right consistency.

One can never get enough of their mommy’s cooking right? Well, I am no exception.

When I arrived in Singapore on 6th May, it was hot and I was thirsty and mommy asked me if I wanted ice blended Avocado juice and I said, I was too tired to moved and she said, no worries she can make one right there and then.. and within minutes I heard some blending in the kitchen and presto, she had two glasses of ice-blended Avocado juice just like they had them at the restaurant. Well done mommy!

The same way people have data backup solutions, I have one backup plan to make sure Azwaj has something to eat when I’m not around next week… and that is spaghetti. It’s filling, easy to make and even easier for him to heat up in the microwave oven. This way, he is sure to have something to eat when he does stay up late at night.

This is another dish that I’ve not come across here in Malaysia despite the number of Indian stalls and restaurants around. It’s call Mutton Chop and it is actually mutton pieces served with gravy, chips and egg.

Here is what it looks like..

Have you try it?
